Quite a wild turn-around today as we began with tornadoes and lightning, but ended calm and sunny with another quick turn-around on the way.
It has been several days since our last round of active weather, but that changes now as showers and storms move in quickly overnight.
The humidity and temperature continue to rise, but we're rapidly approaching the limit as thunderstorms begin to build....
The weekend was sunny, dry, and mild, though it has continued to get warmer and more humid each day....
Cold front brought a chilly night last night and we're in for more of the same tonight, but then a significant warm-up begins.
Drastically different from the last few nights as cold, dry air moves in and frost is likely later tonight....
A front has finally moved in and and will push through, bringing cooler and drier air...an event we haven't seen much of over the last few weeks.
Wasn't very calm earlier today as a developing thunderstorm brought hail and gusting winds to the area, but it's going to quiet a bit through the night before another round moves in.
The weather is being a bit tricky again this week as we begin the week sunny and clear with rain moving in overnight.
This week started clear and sunny but will end grey and damp, a trend we'll continue into next week.
It's been a wet and stormy few days, but things are finally calming as we head into the weekend.
After even more rain today, flooding issues are becoming more and more obvious with another stormy day ahead....
Today was a complete 180 after yesterday's clear skies, and the bad news is the rain isn't stopping anytime soon....
Today was a beautiful start to the week after cooler, drier weekend, but heavy rain will return to the Gulf Coast sooner rather than later....
Weird we only saw one clear day after Wednesday's front, but these clouds won't last much longer before the sun returns.
No severe weather last night, but that cooler and drier air is moving in rapidly after yesterday's front.
The line of storms expected tonight has sped up some, and will be quickly leaving the area through the early morning hours.
Just more of the same from the end of last week as we begin this one, but more rapid changes will be moving in soon.
Another amazingly foggy night ahead, with little change expected until next week.
All of the trends we've had since the beginning of the week are still in effect, so expect more cloud cover, higher temperatures, more humidity, and more fog in the next few days.
Not seeing significant changes right now, but each day will be slightly warmer and more humid than the last until next week....
Over 10 degrees warmer tonight than it was last night, and we'll continue to warm in the days ahead.
Clear skies for now, but clouds will slowly build over the next week before our next round of active weather moves in over the weekend.
Getting some quick cloud cover and showers out of the way tonight so we can enjoy a beautiful, slightly cooler weekend.
