08/17 Ryan’s “Even Warmer” Tuesday Night Forecast

We're in for a few warmer nights before it levels off again and even warmer days move in.

More hot and humid weather is on the way with only spotty afternoon activity. That means fewer cool spots in the heat of the day, and even then “cool” was definitely a relative term as today’s “cool” spots only fell to 95 on the heat index. Not complaining though, you take what you can get in the heat of a South Mississippi summer.

The highs for few days will remain near average (91) with an average amount of rainfall (~20-30%).

Sadly it won’t stay that way for too long. As we head towards the end of the week and the start of the next our highs will climb into the mid 90s. There’s nothing official yet, but empirically that’s about the temperature we’ll start seeing heat advisories issued. Just keep that in the back of your mind and stay safe while enjoying all this beautifully sunny weather!
