A Jackson County man was sentenced today on charges of aggravated assault and shooting at a transportation vehicle. Thirty-three-year-old Deonte Burton was sentenced today to 20 years on the aggravated assault and five years on the shooting at transportation charge. A Pascagoula man will serve seven years in prison on a child exploitation conviction. State Attorney General Lynn Fitch said 25-year-old Larry Rostchild was one of three people investigated on child exploitation charges by her office.
