Coast Young Professionals hosting professional development series

Coast Young Professionals held this year’s first leadership and learning seminar, one of six they will be having throughout the year.

Chamber of Commerce members were presented with a seminar called ‘Resilience paves the road to success.’

Before the presentation, members were able to network and have lunch. Guest speaker Amber Olson shared her story about her daughter being diagnosed with MSD.

The presentation was meant to inspire and encourage those to keep moving forward when life throws you curve balls.

The next seminars will be a mix between policy and government and more leadership and educational opportunities. CYP Director Kelly Devine said, “Anytime I get to see them grow, it makes me feel good because I know other people are doing the same exact thing and pouring into me, but it’s a really awesome experience. We have wonderful, wonderful people in this organization. We’re 200 strong and growing every day. It’s just amazing group of young people on the Coast.”
