Jackson County man sentenced for aggravated assault

A Jackson County man was sentenced today on charges of aggravated assault and shooting at a transportation vehicle. Thirty-three-year-old Deonte Burton was sentenced today to 20 years on the aggravated assault and five years on the shooting at transportation charge. Pascagoula man sentenced for sex crimes

A Pascagoula man will serve seven years in prison on a child exploitation conviction. State Attorney General Lynn Fitch said 25-year-old Larry Rostchild was one of three people investigated on child exploitation charges by her office. Rostchild was sentenced to 40 years with seven to serve, followed by five years of probation. He also must register as a sex offender….
