MSDH reports 822 COVID-19 cases and 46 deaths statewide

Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 822 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 46 deaths. Twelve of these deaths occurred between August 27th and September 29th. An additional 34 deaths occurred between December 22nd, 2020 and September 24, 2021. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 489,216 with 9,646 deaths.
