09/30 Ryan’s “Slowly Improving” Thursday Evening Forecast

Still some activity this afternoon and evening, but things are improving for the end of the week.

South Mississippi has seen a wet couple of days, but conditions are slowly improving tonight. Showers are still drifting inland as I’m writing this, but they’ll be gone by nighttime. At least a few clouds will remain though, but even those will slowly thin into tomorrow. Expect tonight to be slightly cooler with a low near 70, patchy fog, and light easterly winds. Tomorrow afternoon will be warmer than we’ve seen thanks to more sunshine, high near 86 with mostly sunny skies and light southeast winds.

Unfortunately these improving conditions don’t stick around for long.

More clouds and an average chance (~30%) of showers return by Saturday, spiking to around 50% by Sunday. After that the chances will begin falling rapidly as a front moves in to start next week. This will bring much longer-term improvements, with some nice cool nights ahead! Days however won’t be all that much cooler.
