Speckled trout, redfish, and triple tail fish payout for first place is $450 and second place is $150. Sheepshead Showdown Organizer Jared Seymour said, “We wanted to have an event that could bring all those people together, have a good time, and we picked the Sheepshead. It’s an easy fish to catch. You don’t even have to have a boat you can catch it off the side of the boat. So, we wanted something that everybody could participate in even if you didn’t have a boat, you can come outside and enjoy the outdoors.”

There is also a kids division for kids 12 and younger. No registration needed. Kids division participants are not eligible for cash prizes, but the top 15 kids will take home a Sheepshead medal.
