MSDH reporting 2,687 cases of COVID-19 and 56 deaths for the three-day period

Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 2,687 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 56 deaths for the three-day period September 17th through September 19th. Twenty-three of these deaths occurred between September 10th and September 18th. An additional 33 deaths occurred between July 22nd and September 13th, identified from death certificate reports. WXXV and Jeepin the Coast wrapped up the Love for Louisiana supply drive for Hurricane Ida victims this Saturday. The team began collecting supplies for the drive on Monday.
