9/20 – Rob Knight’s “Humid/Cloudy” Afternoon Forecast

A disturbance with an associated cold front are expected to move across the area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Models indicate moisture flow decreasing slightly today/Tuesday, but still sufficient for at least scattered showers/t-storms. Scattered convection is also possible just in advance of the cold front Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. With a little less thunderstorm coverage today and Tuesday compared to the past few days, high temperatures should tend a couple of degrees warmer, with most areas in the 85 to 90 range. The cold frontal passage on Wednesday will bring more pleasant conditions in the extended term.

High temperatures will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s and low temperatures will be in the lower 60s for the area. The beautiful Autumn weather will continue through the first weekend of Fall.
