Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 1,520 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 58 deaths. Nineteen deaths occurred between September 1st and September 26th and 39 deaths occurred between August 21st and September 22nd, identified from death certificate reports. Authorities have executed a massive contraband bust at the South Mississippi Correctional Facility in Leakesville.
