MSDH reports 1,773 COVID-19 cases and 55 deaths for the three-day period

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 1,773 cases of COVID-19 and 55 new deaths for the three-day period running from September 24th to September 26th. Southern Rail Commission awards three grants to cities along the Coast

The Southern Rail Commission will award grant funding from the Federal Railroad Administration to three cities along the Coast. Those cities are Gulfport, Bay St. Louis, and Pascagoula. Two former Coast high school football players were involved in a car accident on Friday that included MGCCC football players: freshman offensive lineman Brandon Cunningham from St. Martin, and sophomore running back Cam Thomas from Picayune. MGCCC increases grant funds available to all students

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is increasing grant funds available to all students. MGCCC announced an increased CARES Grant amounts available to students by $500 for those currently enrolled at the college.
