09/27 Ryan’s “Calm, Humid” Monday Night Forecast

Tonight's calm, humid conditions will lead to some low visibility areas in South MS.

The cooler, drier weather of last week is gone and calm, more humid weather is moving in. That means our cooler, drier period is over as drier, more humid air moves in. Expect that as early as tonight with a much warmer high near 71 and likely patchy fog. Partly cloudy skies linger as well, and build into tomorrow afternoon.

As the temperature and available moisture rises we’ll see a return of our afternoon shower pattern, but only around 20% chances with a high near 84.

The middle of the week will be a bit wetter, but rain chances fall again as we head towards the end of the week thanks to a backdoor cold front. Next week looks largely the same as this one, continuing the summertime pattern with warmer than average temperatures and a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
