9/22 – Jeff’s “Clearing Skies” Friday Evening Forecast
Some clouds this evening will clear out around sunset. Other than very stray showers, rain chances are put to bed for the next 48 hours or so. Passing upper-level clouds overnight can be expected but it will be a mild and pleasant one.
Fall begins at 1:50 AM local time overnight tonight. While the season is changing, there won’t be a crisp feel to the air for a while. It will start off seasonable Saturday and Sunday with temperatures in the upper-80s to low-90s in the afternoon both days. A few clouds from time to time can be anticipated.
Rain chances arrive next week as the storm track will gradually shift. A front will try to make its way into the region early in the week but be unable to progress very far. However, there will be isolated shower and thunderstorm chances Monday – Wednesday with signals of an unsettled pattern remaining through late week.
