11/28 – Jeff Vorick’s “Clearing Skies” Tuesday Morning Forecast

It is another cold start to the day with winds still remaining in play. Temperatures in the upper-30s to lower-40s will have a wind chill factor to them. Your Tuesday will be mainly sunny, more so as the day goes on. Winds will gradually ease into this afternoon and evening.

Tonight will be the coldest night due to clear skies and winds backing off significantly. Due to this, a Freeze Warning is in effect from 1 AM through 7 AM for our entire area with the exception of the immediate coastline of Harrison County, and George and Stone County’s alert beginning at 12 AM.

The pattern will gradually moderate towards the end of this week as winds shift to a more southerly component. This will bring moisture and humidity back into the picture for the end of the week.

A parade of frontal systems will provide for an unsettled time along the Mississippi Coast. Rain chances will be present from the second half of Thursday through early Sunday. At the moment, the highest rain chances look to be on Friday and Saturday.
