09/02 Ryan’s “100 Degrees” Wednesday Evening Forecast

Hot and humid again today, but only felt like 100 degrees in the Gulfport area. This “manageable heat” trend continues for another day, but the temperature will slowly increase for the rest of the week. Not an issue initially, but we’ll likely see heat indices in the 110 degree range by Saturday. This is right around heat advisory levels, so remember to use caution enjoying this Labor Day weekend.

Remember to take frequent shady breaks, stay hydrated, and wear light, loose-fitting clothing.

A cold front will move through on the back end of Saturday, but won’t do much to cool things down much. That front stalls out overhead, and will act as a magnet for more active weather over the start of next week. Rain chances will rise to 30% by Sunday, and continue to 40% for Tuesday and Wednesday. Afterwards, expect cooler highs, but it’ll be quite humid again.
