04/19 Ryan’s “Light, Dry Breeze” Thursday Night Forecast

A dry breeze moved in on the backside of this morning’s cold front, with clear skies and slightly cooler temperatures not far behind. It didn’t cool as much as I expected it to, which was only a few degrees anyway, so it remained warmer today but cooling will continue into tomorrow. That means Friday will remain clear and sunny with temperatures falling into the low 70s, but a warming trend will begin by the evening which will continue until a front moves in on Sunday. This front is currently moving Eastward out of the desert Southwest, and will meet with an upper level low on Saturday right as it moves into the Southeast. The low moves across the area from 6 AM Sunday until 6 PM Sunday, bringing showers, likely a few thunderstorms, and at most a “marginal” threat for severe weather…but that still remains to be seen. The rain stops, but clouds remain as we begin next week in the mid-70s and begin climbing back toward the 80s by the week’s end.
