04/18 Ryan’s “Overnight Clouds” Wednesday Night Forecast

Today was another beautifully sunny day, but we’ll see some fleeting clouds move in quickly overnight and dissipate tomorrow. A cold front is pushing into the area, and while that would normally bring at least showers with it, little more than a wind shift and pop of cloud cover is expected with this one. This will bring some slightly cooler and drier air into South Mississippi, bringing the temperature from the low 80s back to the upper 70s by tomorrow, cooling further into the lower 70s for Friday. By Friday afternoon the high pressure will have pushed to the East of us, meaning return flow will begin and the humidity will begin to rise. This continues through Saturday and into Sunday as a low pressure system moves in, bringing likely showers and the possibility of thunderstorms throughout the day. It seems a trough will remain after the front passes, keeping light-to-moderate cloud cover in place through the beginning of the week, but rain chances fall significantly by Monday.
