04/11 Ryan’s “Good as it Gets” Wednesday Night Forecast

Today’s practically perfect weather is just about as good as it gets in South Mississippi. Temperatures maxed out in the mid 70s along the coastline as expected, and while the humidity rose a bit from yesterday it was still well below average. The next few days will be just as beautiful and sunny, but will become slightly warmer and more humid each day into the weekend. By Friday afternoon, the cloud cover will finally begin to increase as well, and will continue to do so dramatically through the night and into Saturday. Saturday is looking like a wash as a slow moving cold front will bring rain for almost the entire day, and this system is showing it could have some severe weather potential as well. Stay tuned for updates on the severity of this weekend’s storms over the next few days. Thankfully the front doesn’t stall and linger like the last few have, but will leave the area by Sunday ushering in significantly cooler and drier air. Expect a sunny start to the week with mild temperatures in the upper 60s, with temperatures slowly rising into the upper 70s by the middle-end of the week.
