03/04 Ryan’s “Slight Risk” Wednesday Evening Forecast

A slight risk of severe weather remains in South MS, but little has happened so far. That’s because a stationary front is draped across the area, forcing the worst of the activity to the north. That front is creeping closer, so expect an uptick in activity over the next few hours.

It will eventually pull another low pressure system across South MS by sunrise, so the chance of showers and storms will linger until then at least.

That last frontal system will be gone by lunchtime, and clearing will begin quickly after. Expect to begin the day cloudy with a high near 65, but we’ll end it much more clear. Clearing skies will allow for more cooling, so expect to see a chilly, drier night with a low near 48. These cooler and drier conditions will stick around through the weekend, but give way to more clouds and rain by next Monday.
