01/12 Ryan’s “Drastically Colder” Friday Forecast

Tonight’s weather will be drastically different from what we’ve experienced over the last few nights. Last night’s cold front moved through as expected, bringing rain but no severe weather, and now the Arctic air is moving in. Tonight’s low will fall to near 30 degrees (last night’s was in the mid 50s), but the added brisk northerly winds will make it feel more like 20. The skies will clear through the night leading to a few beautifully sunny and dry days through the weekend, but the nights will be brutally cold with lows in the mid-to-upper 20s with wind chills in the upper teens and Hard Freeze Watches have already been issued. Things start to warm by Monday, highs in the 50s and a low above freezing, but a reinforcing front moves through around that time and knocks us right back down into the 40s and 20s for another few days. Doesn’t last long though as we’ll be back on a warming trend as we head into next weekend.
