Ryan’s “Post-Front” Monday Night Forecast
Post-front Monday already looks vastly different from pre-front Sunday, as conditions have already cleared and will continue to cool & dry. Tonight’s low will bring us into the lower 50s, which was about as cold as we were at our coolest point last week, and I expect to see a shortwave trough reinforce these conditions as early as tomorrow evening making it even cooler & drier. This will allow for rapid cooling in the late afternoon tomorrow, leading to our first night in the lower 40s since winter ended earlier this year! This high pressure will last through the rest of the week, but we will see some gradual warming as we approach the weekend, bringing us back into the low-to-mid 70s. Don’t fear a return of last week’s “late summer” conditions though, because another front moves in by Saturday, bringing a chance of rain and another blast of cooling/drying air just in time to start of next week in true fall style.
