04/17 Ryan’s “Return Flow” Tuesday Night Forecast

Today’s weather was just as clear and sunny as yesterday’s, but return flow set up this afternoon and the humidity is on the rise. Tonight will be significantly warmer than the last few nights have been, mid-60s on the waterfront, with patchy fog expected in fog-prone areas. The temperature will continue rising into the low 80s by tomorrow afternoon, but a weak cold front moves in overnight bringing a slight cool down before things get out of hand. No rain is expected with that particular system, but a sprinkle or two isn’t out of the question. Temperatures will return to the mid and upper 70s across the Coast as the weekend arrives. Clouds will begin thin on Thursday, but will build slowly to “mostly cloudy” by Sunday. It’s then that we’ll see our next active weather system move in as a low pressure system currently developing over Northern California is pulled directly overhead overnight. Showers and an isolated thunderstorm or two will linger into Monday morning, but another trough will swing through keeping the clouds from completely clearing by Tuesday.
