Two men charged in trailer burglary in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Two Gulfport men are behind bars, accused of breaking into a vacant trailer in Saucier.

Fifty-two-year-old Timothy Malone and 41-year-old Christoper Cowart are facing felony burglary charges.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary in progress near the 17,000 block of Old Highway 49 this week.

Investigators used surveillance photos and witness statements to identify the suspects and their vehicle.

Deputies later found Malone and Cowart inside that vehicle, along with tools they allegedly used to break into the trailer.

Some of the stolen property was later recovered nearby.
