6/26 – Rob’s “Drier” Workweek Forecast
A cold front has stalled over the outer coastal waters after slipping through the area last night. After DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE last week with TS Cindy, the area will return to a more normal Summer-patter.
The boundary south will meander in the area through this evening before getting a bit of a push south. Activity today will be confined to the sound/GOM…but a few stray showers could develop along the beach this afternoon as a NE wind will switch to the south for a few hours.
Normal Summertime activity will affect the viewing area by Wednesday with afternoon Sea-Breeze activity. A build up of TROPICAL MOISTURE in the NW’tern GOM will bring elevated rain potential late in the work week…but should be out of the area for the weekend.
