6/29 – Rob’s “Wet Friday Eve” Midday News Forecast

HEAVY RAINFALL has been in the area since last night…and will continue though tonight as a FLASH FLOOD watch continues…

The area of low-pressure has moved closer to the area on it’s track to the NE. HEAVY RAIN has been in the area since midnight with the activity to continue through today. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect through tonight as a very saturated ground will lead to quite a bit of run-off into low-lying and collective areas.

Drier air will begin moving into the region from the NE tomorrow, decreasing rain potential from 100% today to 50% to close out the workweek. Improved conditions will continue into the weekend with typical Summertime afternoon activity expected into early next week. Temps will begin warming into the 90s next week…
