6/26 – Rob’s “HOT, HUMID & HAZY” Weekend Forecast

High-pressure will shape the forecast into the weekend…then gradually expand over the next 24 hours bringing drier conditions to the region through Saturday with only slight chances of afternoon and evening thunderstorms.

Clockwise flow around NE Gulf High along with another weak disturbance will bring precipitation chances back up to around 40-50 percent for the weekend with mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorms expected.

The pattern is expected to slowly dry out early next week with the Bermuda high remaining in place bringing more typical summer time conditions with temperatures rebounding into the lower 90s with 30 to 40 precipitation chances for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms throughout the period.
