5/28 – Rob Knight’s “Continued HOT” Morning Forecast

A few light showers broke out yesterday but remained very isolated. Much better rain chances will flank the area to the west and we should see several showers/t-storms develop in SE Louisiana and move northward. Most if not all activity that is able to develop today should remain to our west until later in the workweek.

Odds look better for higher rain chances Thursday as two areas of instability are now showing up on models. One system moving in from the gulf Thursday morning, another moving in from the west. After Thursday, a more normal summer-like diurnal distribution of showers/t-storms is expected.
