4/27 – Jeff Vorick’s “Clearing” Thursday Evening Forecast
It was quite active during the first portion of today! Some spots received over 3 inches of rain and some thunderstorms produced large hail. Skies are clearing out this evening as we await the actual cold front. That will swing through overnight bringing a brief dry airmass into Friday.
Expect a few clouds on average over the course of tomorrow. A mild start will turn into a very warm, but pleasant spring day. Temperatures will be in the 80s! Clouds increase ahead of another system overnight Friday into Saturday.
Rain chances will elevate the second half of the day Saturday. There is the potential for multiple rounds of rain, with the best coverage being Saturday night. The system and cold front will clear the area Sunday and sunshine will return Sunday afternoon. Next week looks to be quiet across South Mississippi.
