4/13 – Jeff’s “Drier Times” Thursday Evening Forecast

Skies have cleared somewhat this afternoon. Drier times will be around tonight as low pressure pulls away. Clouds will dissipate overnight and temperatures will also be cool again tomorrow morning. Plenty of sunshine will provide for efficient warming for Friday.

A system will be moving into the Eastern U.S. this weekend. The combination of a nearby stationary front and being in the warm sector of the aforementioned system will provide for showers and thunderstorms Saturday. Pre-frontal energy will move east along the Gulf Coast during the day.

Expect rain chances of 60-70% for Saturday, especially into the afternoon and evening. Another potential round of thunderstorms will come with the cold front Sunday morning. Clearing will soon follow suit. Into next week, a near-average and dry pattern looks to set into our area Monday-Wednesday.
