3/23 – Rob’s “Thursday (Breezy Afternoon) Forecast

A cold front over the Rockies continues to develop and move east….poised to affect the region/area heading into the 1st weekend of Spring. This system will begin to affect the area Friday around midday with a few showers…isolated t-storms late in the day. The main effects will come overnight Friday-Saturday as a squall line will push ahead of the boundary and provide the potential for a few SEVERE T-STORMS (damaging Winds/Tornadoes) Friday night.

Saturday will continue to bring scattered showers and t-storms to the area as the front begins to slow to our west. Heavy rain at times could bring .50-1.50” of rain through the day Saturday.

Sunday will bring partial clearing as the main front will ride just to our north…keeping an unstable atmosphere in the area.
