2/5 – Payton’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Fog continues along the coast this afternoon with visibility below one mile in many locations. This will continue through the afternoon and evening. We’re also watching a line of showers and thunderstorms to the west. It will continue to move into the area. It appears the strongest showers and thunderstorms will move into Pearl River County over the next several hours. The coastal areas will have a chance to see showers and heavy downpours. Tonight will be another mild one with fog and a few sprinkles. Wednesday will be similar to today with some fog along the coat, but we’re not expecting heavy rain. Thursday will be similar. By Thursday night a cold front will bring showers into the area into Friday morning. Friday looks colder with temperatures below average in the 50s. Cooler on Saturday before we warm up again next week.
