2/4 – The Chief’s “Wet Morning” Friday/Weekend Forecast

Although the front is now east of the area, post frontal rain will continue this morning, spotty rain this afternoon. It will take most of the day for the moisture to totally push out of the area, with clouds clearing overnight. Temperatures will fall into the 20s and 30s for Saturday morning, with wind chill making it feel like the upper teens to low 20s.

High-pressure will move in with sunshine and colder temperatures this weekend. This area of high-pressure will keep any significant precipitation mainly over the Gulf of Mexico next week. If there’s a day that might be slightly favored for precipitation, it will be Monday. Overall, any precipitation next week looks to be very light.
