12/13 Ryan’s “Dense Fog” Friday Evening Forecast

There was a little rain this afternoon, but it’s moving on and dense fog is moving in. Visibility is already below five miles, but after midnight it will fall to less than one. This means driving conditions will be dangerous late tonight and early tomorrow morning.

Remember to drive slowly, give yourself plenty of time to stop, and not to use those high beams!

Some clouds will linger into the morning, but things will begin clearing pretty quickly and the weekend is largely going to be sunny. Expect sunshine and temperatures rising slowly into the low 70s by Monday. At that point, our next weather maker moves out of the Southwest and brings cloud cover and increased rain chances. Even thunderstorms look more likely than what we’ve seen over the past few rain events, and it has “marginal” severe chances associated with it the day before. Afterwards, it looks like we’ll enjoy a long period of dry, sunny, and cooler weather for next week.
