12/12 – Jeff’s “Gradual Changes This Week” Tuesday Night Forecast
It will be cold again overnight but frost concerns should be very isolated. Your Wednesday will feature upper-level clouds streaming in leading to a few clouds to partly cloudy skies at times. Winds will again pick up during the day as well with it being breezy at times tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures will gradually moderate in such a way that mornings will be more tolerable for the end of the week.
A developing area of low pressure will move across the Gulf of Mexico at the end of the week. Prior to this, winds across the region will be increasing. This especially holds true over the water where a Small Craft Advisory is in effect beyond the barriers. Expect these alerts to be hoisted closer to shore as the week progresses, and gale conditions to develop. The low pressure combined with a cold front will bring the potential for rain this weekend. Timing is favoring Saturday into Sunday to be the best opportunity.
