09/25 Ryan’s “Hottest” Wednesday Forecast

Today was the hottest I expect it to get this week and while it will cool in the days ahead, we’re still a long way from fall-like weather. Tomorrow’s high will remain in the low 90s, but temperatures will fall some as upper-level and surface ridges move away. It won’t fall much though, only into the upper 80s, but it will remain there for most of next week.

So temperatures will remain above average, but will still feel more fall-like for a few more days before the humidity creeps upward as well.

Despite the high pressure weakening, it will still be over a week before we’ll see any significant rainfall! As the high pressure moves further east it will strengthen the Bermuda Ridge, which will force Tropical Storm Karen due West. Some models have held this together into the Gulf of Mexico, but it’s still a long-shot we’ll see any impact from it. Stay tuned for updates.
