09/10 Ryan’s “Wet Start” Monday Evening Forecast

We’re off to a wet start to the week, and it’ll be another week before we see any significantly drier days.

The frontal system we expected has moved in, but is already stalling and will linger in the area for the first half of the week.

After it moves away, another round of moisture moves in as a developing tropical wave passes to the Southwest of us. That means we’ll have at least 30% chance of afternoon showers, which is fairly typical for the summertime, until the weekend.

By Sunday though we will begin seeing some changes.

Drier air and higher pressure will have moved back in by this time which will bring more sun, and some warmer temperatures. Expect to start next week with mostly sunny skies, afternoon highs return to the 90s, and almost no chance of rain.
