05/17 Ryan’s “Muggy” Monday Night Forecast

Another muggy start to the week in South MS after a sunny and drier weekend now lies behind us. We’ll see a similar pattern developing this week, meaning we’re in for a few rainy days before things start to improve. Even then, any “positive” changes will be negligible as it really won’t be any cooler at all and only slightly less humid.

That’s later on though, so it’s muggy weather until then.

Expect a low tonight near 72 degrees with cloudy skies and patchy fog. Tomorrow afternoon cools slightly from today’s high of 80 down to 78 degrees, but that’s only due to the cloud cover and rain. Activity continues through the middle of the week, but begins to break up by the end. That means Thursday will still have a few clouds, but we’ll be back to sunny skies by Friday. The weekend certainly looks nice, but we’ll see highs in the mid 80s with muggy conditions…leading to our highest heat indices of the year so far.
