04/22 Ryan’s “Windy, Pre-Storm” Wednesday Forecast

Quite windy and humid today, and not much will change as we head through the night and into Thursday. Expect a considerably warmer night that last night as the low climbs into the low 70s. Showers will come and go from the evening until after midnight, when they’ll begin to increase considerably. Rain chances for tomorrow are around 70% as it will rain most of the day with strong thunderstorms.

SEVERE THREAT HAS HELD STEADY AT “ENHANCED” FOR THE EASTERN HALF OF SOUTH MS, AND “SLIGHT” FOR THE WESTERN.

This means heavy rain, frequent lightning, strong winds, moderate hail, and tornadoes are all possible, if not likely. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings, such as our free Weather Authority app if you don’t already have it. After the front passes we’ll see clearing skies into Friday morning. Overall the weather will remain drier and sunny well into next week, but there will be one exception early Sunday morning as a low passes nearby.
