04/10 Ryan’s “Chilly and Clear” Tuesday Night Forecast

It’s much sunnier in South MS than it’s been over the last few days, with a chilly and clear night, and those great conditions aren’t going anywhere soon. Expect the sunshine and nearly cloudless skies to last from now until Friday morning, but we’ll start seeing clouds thickening rapidly into Friday night and Saturday. That will be due to an approaching deep frontal system moving in from the Rockies, which will absolutely crawl through the area all day Saturday. Severe weather parameters appear low at the moment (will continue to monitor through the week), but such deep moisture will mean pockets of heavy rain are all but certain and can cause some flooding issues. The good thing about this system is it won’t linger like the last one did, and much cooler and drier air will move in quickly bringing sunny skies to the Gulf Coast as early as Sunday.
