02/05 Ryan’s “Nice Start” Monday Night Forecast

We were treated to a gloriously sunny day to start of the week, but unfortunately it will be the last such day we’ll see for a while. Cloud cover has already begun to move in, and we’ll see mostly cloudy skies by midnight. The humidity will continue to rise as southerly winds continue through the night, and we’ll begin seeing significant rain chances as early as tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon. We’re already seeing the warm front from a developing low in South TX moving towards us, and right as it arrives it will merge with another frontal system moving across the plains, keeping rain in the area from Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday afternoon. At this time no severe weather is expected, but the dynamics of the situation will create an atmosphere where it isn’t impossible, so it would be prudent to remain weather aware during the early morning hours of Wednesday. Our free WXXV Weather App would is a handy tool to have during these overnight events. Even after the front moves through, more cloud cover and rain is likely through the weekend.
