01/25 Ryan’s “Wetter” Wednesday Evening Forecast

It’s been less humid and dry since our weekend severe weather, but it’ll start getting a little wetter tonight. A cold front is moving through tonight, and the leading edge of it’s storm line beginning to push into South MS right now (7:00 PM). Expect mostly showers though a few thunderstorms will be mixed in, but no severe storms are expected tonight. The front will be on the way out of the area by midnight, and cool/dry air will begin filtering in quickly. Expect tomorrow’s high to drop into the low 60s, and afternoons in the upper 50s will follow through the weekend. Evenings will get quite chilly, dropping into the upper 30s as early as tomorrow night, and remaining through the beginning of next week. Despite the cold temperatures, no coastal areas will reach freezing, although a few Northern areas will get close.
