Ryan’s “Stormy” Monday Night Forecast

The week started stormy yesterday and so far not much has changed. Storms continue to move through the area at this time (10:30 pm), but should be completely through South MS by midnight. We’ll see some slightly drier behind, but the most notable difference will be the clearer skies, allowing for more sunshine. Temperatures remain in the upper 60s, and slowly trend downward by a degree or two as another front begins to move toward South MS from the NW. This front will require a little help from another, weaker boundary to get through, but it’s trailing a frigid airmass so temperatures will drop to or below freezing by Friday morning. The cold weather only lasts through the weekend, and our temperatures will rebound quickly back into the upper 60s by Monday.
