04/12 Ryan’s “Cool & Foggy” Wednesday Night Forecast

By this time last night, clouds were moving in and it remained warm, but tonight will be clearer, cool & foggy. Tonight’s low will fall to around 63 on the waterfront with slightly cooler areas inland. Winds were already light throughout the day, but will calm in the early morning hours and will lead to the formation of patchy, locally dense fog. Other than driving woes, this fog will cause little issue. Please drive slowly, don’t use hi-beams, and give yourself plenty of room to stop.

Tomorrow will continue the trend of warm and sunny days. The afternoon high is expected to reach 82 with little to no cloud cover. Winds will begin from the North, but will shift toward the SE in the afternoon. Generally, this type of sea/land breeze set up will lead to a few afternoon showers on an otherwise sunny day. Showers are not expected tomorrow because of upper level ridging, but are possible as we begin next week.

Easter Sunday is looking like it will be one of those days as well. Right now, I’m expecting an afternoon high near 79 with mostly sunny skies, but conditions look right for a small number of isolated showers. At this time, there is no reason to call of any travel or outdoor plans related to your Easter festivities.
