7/6 – Jeff Vorick’s “Isolated Thunderstorms” Thursday Evening Forecast
Isolated thunderstorms will be around for portions of this evening. They will be capable of producing lightning and very heavy rainfall. Winds will gradually shift to a northerly direction overnight which will allow for somewhat milder temperatures. Cloud coverage will remain dominant.
Tomorrow will provide for similar conditions with thunderstorms on the table again. Rain chances will be around 50% for the afternoon. Isolated rain before noon won’t be ruled out either. Some more breaks in the clouds will be possible for the weekend but rain chances will remain.
Hot and humid conditions will be around for areas that get more direct sunlight. In the tropics, it remains quiet. Colorado State University updated their outlook and now they are calling for an above average season. For now, Saharan Dust will choke off any potential activity.
