9/7 – Jeff Vorick’s “Thunderstorms Come To End” Thursday Evening Forecast

Showers and thunderstorms will gradually wind down across South Mississippi. Skies will clear out overnight and a less humid pattern will slowly start to take shape. It will be mainly sunny for your Friday with only a few passing clouds in the afternoon.

Temperatures will be hot for the end of this week into the weekend. But, humidity will not be a factor so it will feel tolerable outside. Expect sunshine to dominate the next several days. Mornings will even be quite pleasant with some inland locations dropping into the 60s.

Lee is now a Category 4 major hurricane. It will continue on a west-northwestward trajectory and turn northward by next week. It poses no threat to Coastal Mississippi.
