9/24 – Rob’s 1st Workweek of Autumn Forecast

The current forecast seems to be on point as a frontal boundary is stalled to the northwest of the forecast area. This will serve as the focal point for rain to move in from the Gulf along with activity being enhanced by daytime heating. We will continue to have diurnally driven showers and thunderstorms for the next few days. Some of the storms could be strong with HEAVY RAINFALL which could produce localized flooding.

Temperatures should remain in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Another front will approach the forecast area Wednesday and should push a little bit further into the area. This will increase rain chances by midweek. The front should stall across the area and washout over the region through the end of the week.
