9/12 – Jeff’s “Remains Unsettled” Tuesday Night Forecast

Partly cloudy skies and muggy conditions can be expected overnight. A 20% chance of rain near the beachfront cannot be ruled out around daybreak. Humid conditions will remain for the next day or so ahead of a cold front.

Your Wednesday will feature a mix of clouds and sun for the first part of the day. By the afternoon, a cold front will be close to the area. Combine that with daytime heating and there will be a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and early evening. Some thunderstorms could bring frequent lightning and a strong wind gust or two.

The front will pass through our area by Wednesday night. It will not advance very far so there will still be cloud cover and rain chances through the end of the week. For what it’s worth, there will be a milder start for Thursday. Rain chances will be isolated in nature Thursday and Friday afternoon. A secondary front arrives this weekend and brings more appreciable rain.
