9/12 – Jeff Vorick’s “Humid” Tuesday Evening Forecast
Clearing has taken place through much of this afternoon. There will still be a 20% chance of rainfall this evening from isolated shower activity. It will remain mild and muggy overnight under partly cloudy skies. A 20% chance of a shower near the immediate coast cannot be ruled out around daybreak.
Tomorrow will bring 40% rain chances. However, the morning will feature intervals of clouds and sunshine. The combination of daytime heating and an approaching front will ignite shower and thunderstorm chances for the afternoon and early evening. The front will clear the area by Wednesday night and there will be a milder feel to the air at times for the end of the week.
However, the front will not advance very far through the region. Disturbances will ride along the boundary for the end of the week and weekend until a more potent front makes it into our area by next week. Rain chances will remain in place Thursday and Friday through the weekend.
