8/11 – Rob’s “Weekend/HEAVY RAIN” Forecast
As this pesky low-pressure system continues to move west, the potential for HEAVY RAIN will be a possibility through Friday afternoon. The FLASH FLOOD WATCH has been extended through Saturday morning with the local area receiving ¼ – 1.5” of rain over the past 24 hours. The majority of rainfall will affect the area today into tomorrow morning before rain potential decreases back to around 50% for the weekend.
RIVER STAGES are already become an issues; BILOXI river at LYMAN to CREST/FLOOD by Friday morning. Other rivers will follow suit over the weekend and into early next week.
